Clinical Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine

Postgraduate studies. Real life experience. Deep listening. Problem solving. Clinical tools.

When you have complex physical health challenges that impact your mental health including hormonal challenges, neurodivergence and comorbid conditions, metabolic conditions and burnout or other chronic/complex conditions, you want to have me on your team. Leave your consult feeling truly seen and held, with an action plan to go.

The tools we may use in session:

  • Pathology such as bloodwork, urine or saliva samples to gather information on hormones, nutritional status, genetics, and more.

  • Cycle tracking, food diaries, data on sleep and activity, whether it is manually tracked or downloaded from the apps you might use.

  • Practitioner-only supplements and other nutraceutical products, nutritional and lifestyle changes covering sleep, stress, environment, food, movement, and even working on mindset, beliefs, and fears to support stress and behaviour change.

Using a holistic lifestyle approach is the most up-to-date evidence-based practice for managing and preventing many chronic lifestyle conditions and life-long health challenges.

How does this work?

The first thing after you’ve booked your consult is that I’ll send you an intake form to gather some more information. The more information you provide, the better we can use our time together. If you have recent bloodwork or other pathology, food and mood diary (if relevant) or cycle tracking data, that is all helpful. If not, we’ll gather as much as we can and go from there.

I’ll then conduct a full review of systems including asking about health history, any relevant family or travel history, symptoms, and anything else that may be relevant for our investigations. I allow an hour for this session either by Zoom or in-person.

The next step is to identify our course of action so that you can go away with some practical tools to start making changes while I put together your personalised treatment plan (within 2 working days), supplement prescription if needed, recommendations for further investigations, and research anything of relevance such as evidence-based treatments, protocols, and root causes.

Once you have your treatment plan you can get to work, and I’ll book you in for a follow up session somewhere between 1 week and 1 month depending on your goals. I’ll touch base a week after our initial appointment to see how you’re going and you’ll be able to email me with any questions in between.
